Wan Ton Mee Fav

4th March 2014 ~ A humble coffee shop hiden along the buzzing road of Sim Ave (Geylang). Hunt for Wan Ton Mee is on.
Koung's wan tan mee printed on a red signboard is seen with queue. The noodles are of decent serving coupled with char sio, veg & a bowl of soup with 3pcs of wan ton.
The smell of the frangence oil(香油) flows through your nose when you scoop up the noodle. The noodle texture is good with chewy feel when u bite onto.
Chilli is mild taste even after I had asked for extra.
The char sio is moist with a little of fats. The fillings for the wan ton is packed with soft thin skin.
The most classic ingredient is the crackling deep fried pork lard which enhanced the whole flavour of the noodles.

Overall experience is good with the aunty's friendly service.

Parking maybe a challenge as there is only a small road to park along the roadside.
